My name is Sean Davey and I am the founder of Rithmetic Math Club.

For more than ten years, I coached children's sports in East York.
Helping kids develop and gain confidence through the summer was always the highlight of my year, so I decided I wanted to find something that would allow me to do that full time.

That something became Rithmetic Math Club! 

As a stock analyst and a CFA charterholder, I worked with numbers on a daily basis for almost 20 years. Success in finance, involves more than just an ability to do complex calculations. One needs to be comfortable sorting, interpreting, manipulating and simplifying all the data that comes in every day, and then be able to come to conclusions based on those findings.

It is this kind of comfort and familiarity with numbers that I hope to help develop in the kids that come to Rithmetic Math Clubs.

These are skills that will help them in anything and everything they do.

Before entering the world of finance, I spent two years teaching English to children in Taiwan. I also have two kids of my own (age 16 and 22) and I remain involved in amateur sports in our community.
